Daniel Green is a composer/lyricist and musical director. He received a BM in Composition from Northwestern University, where he wrote over twenty songs for their annual Waa-Mu show and his first musical, The Last Hurrah, was nominated for a Weston Playhouse New Musical Award. 

Recent composing, arranging and orchestrating credits include Come Together (Wilmette Theatre), Twelfth Night (Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival) and Fanny Brice (Maltz Jupiter Theatre). 

His work has also been included in "Power of the American Popular Song," a songwriting workshop produced by the Johnny Mercer Foundation, and the 2009 NEO concert in New York, where Mandy Gonzalez performed his song "Hide and Seek". He is currently working on an original musical commissioned by the Village Theatre in Seattle. 

In addition to composing, Daniel has served as a musical director for many workshops and regional productions, and for the past year has been working as a music assistant and pianist for Andrew Lippa on The Addams Family, coming to Broadway this spring. 

Daniel is a member of ASCAP and AFM.
